Yes! We're your neighbors, co-workers, friends-- maybe even your loved ones. You might not guess it from the general tone of public discourse in Scott County, Tennessee, but there's a strong thread of progressive ideals running through our community; and the color of that thread is an emphatic blue.

A person could go anywhere in East Tennessee to see and hear conservative politics and rigid, regressive social values on display. Dedicated to the ideal that Scott County belongs to each and every one of its residents, this site seeks to provide resources and a community for people who think "outside the box," against the grain of the county's prevailing conservative notions. We feel that this county, and this nation, are long overdue for a strong infusion of progressive principles in public life.
